Country Manager, Italy
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Country Manager, Italy. We are looking for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial, strategic individual to look after our operations in Italy.
The Challenge
Based in Milan or Rome, the Country Manager, Italy will be responsible to take on a hands-on role for the overall planning, growth and profitability of the Company's businesses in Italy.
Here's what you'll do
- Assist in the launch and build of our vibrant social media based website businesses in Italy
- Plan and coordinate results oriented online marketing, traditional marketing, and public relations initiatives to create and maintain target customer awareness
- Manage the Italy press office and lead all communication to the media
- Identify, recommend and implement initiatives to drive visitors to web properties and in turn grow a profitable business
- Attain planned monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives
- Build a solid affiliate sales network in Italy
- Manage relationships and contracts with suppliers and partners.
Here's what you'll need
- University degree or equivalent along with 5+ years related experience (MBA preferred)
- Experience specifically with marketing and public relations.
- Previous experience building a successful online media, internet based or technology business/brand
- Excellent Italian and English language communications skills are mandatory, additional language skills are an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, negotiation, public speaking, and presentation skills
- A background in product marketing, sales, public relations and/or advertising is preferred
- Passionate and decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is then prepared to execute it
- Ability to regularly travel within Italy and occasionally international as business needs require
- An entrepreneurial spirit
- Pro-active, flexible, and results oriented
- Ability to work independently
